Waldensian Day 2015

19 September 2015, 10.30am - 3pm

St Andrew’s Hall, St Andrews Road, Cambridge

850 years ago the followers of Waldo, a rich merchant who embraced poverty and began preaching the Gospel in ordinary language, were declared heretics and have since suffered a long history of persecution. It is thus truly historic that in June Pope Francis visited a Waldensian church in Turin and asked for forgiveness.
